The Nutrition Society Silver Medal has been assigned annually since 1991 for scientific excellence in the field of nutrition, and is awarded to a member of the Society who is within 15 years of higher degree graduation.
The 2023 awardee is Dr Ana Rodriguez-Mateos, King’s College London, UK.
Dr Rodriguez-Mateos has been awarded the Silver Medal 2023 for her research entitled:
'Dietary (poly)phenois and human health: from antioxidants to modulators of the gut microbiota'
Dr Ana Rodriguez-Mateos presented her research on 4 July 2023 at the Society's Summer Conference 2023 in Liverpool.
