It is normally around this time of the year that the Nutrition Society and the Irish Section contact members about upcoming elections for the Irish Section or Nutrition Society. However, this year things are slightly different, due to the fact that there is no Irish Section or Summer Conference because of FENS 2019. Instead, the Irish Section ASM will be held at FENS 2019 on Wednesday 16 October 2019.
The Nutrition Society ACM will be held on 9 September at an event that is free for all members to attend. This event will combine the ACM, the Gowland Hopkins Award lecture and a networking reception. This is being held at the Royal College of Nursing in London from 16.30 – 19.15 PM. To register to attend please contact Emily Ooi, Conference Coordinator. Please note: anyone can attend the lecture and networking reception, but only members will be able to attend the ACM. The Society looks forward to welcoming delegates and members to both.
